The House of Donuts has been a neighborhood staple since 1971. The owner—my dad—came to this country in 1977 and, at 17, started as a donut maker. Through hard work and dedication he became the owner—still making donuts every morning with my brother. And my mom is the heart of the shop—welcoming you by name, remembering your usual, pouring your coffee with a smile, and making everyone who walks feel like family. If you know The House of Donuts, you know Nick and Maria.
On October 8, 2025, a fire broke out in a neighboring store and spread into ours. The damage from the fire and the water used to fight it forced us to close. We're heartbroken, but we're determined to rebuild and continue serving the community that has supported us for decades.
We've never asked for anything like this. If you're able, please consider donating to help us cover urgent cleanup and repair costs so we can reopen House of Donuts. If donating isn't possible, a share helps more than you know. From our family to yours: thank you for any support you can give.
